Walking by the sea

In this weather can be tiring, energizing and fairly cold all at the same time.

There wasn't a lot of beach showing by the time we arrived. We’d forgotten to check the tide times.

But there was enough room for a scramble along the sand. Didn't stay too long. Didn't want to be washed out to sea.

We took a couple of shaky videos of the North Sea being energetic

Now cold, energized and tired which is a good place to be on a Sunday evening.

  1. I love being close to the sea. The strength and moods of the water put us firmly in position in the great scheme of things. I also find gazing at the water and the way the light shines on it mesmerizing, especially at dawn. Glad you found some 'me' time in your hectic schedule.

  2. It'll all be covered in snow today I expect. That would have made some good pics.

  3. I don't get to the coast as often as I'd like, especially after having spent some of my childhood living there. Love the sea in all its moods; an ever present reminder of our real position on this wonderful planet. Your post has inspired me to make more of an effort to get there to recharge my spiritual batteries. But not today: too much of that pesky white stuff on the roads!

    1. It's well worth the effort, Stuart, but I take the point about the pesky white stuff. Not much inspiration at the bottom of a ditch.
